Day 2: Kampung Taman Sedia

Next, touring Kampung Taman Sedia (Malay Settlement in Cameron Highlands). It provides many homestays and affordable chalets, surrounded by strawberry farms, and cafes.

Free food testing was given by the owner. Mmm... they were delicious. The natural sour-sweetness of freshly picked Cameron strawberries blend well. 

So we each bought home its own-made strawberry jam and strawberry pickle, or 'acar strawberi'. Suitable as souvenirs as well.

Famous as filming site for the TV3 drama, Vanilla Coklat, starring the gorgeous Izara Aishah and good looking Aiman Hakim.

Can't get any healthier than being surrounded by greeneries...

Hunting for... twin strawberries... but we found triplets! ;)

Another signature product of YZ Agro Farm is its sambal hitam Pahang. Sadly, the sambal had ran out of stock when we arrived! Owh, the more reason to return to Cameron...

Another unattended wishlist, was KHM Farm scone. I read in a few blogs (can't remember which) that the scones here are among the best made by locals. 

We drove back and forth around this village, but failed to see its signboard anywhere...
