Day 2: Big Red Strawberry Farm

Our final highland strawberry entourage of the day... was at Big Red Strawberry Farm back in Brinchang. It was located behind the Cactus Valley, not too far from our Snooze Too Hotel.

Opening hours: Daily, 08:30am till 05:30pm
Admission: Free (charged on strawberry self-picking)

Parkings are available as you drive further up. We did not know this, so had a bit of exertional dyspneoa during our uphill climb...

It is the BIGGEST strawberry farm in Cameron Highlands. Different sections were separated at each hill levels.

THE CACTUS & POND

You can find all sorts, shapes, colours, and sizes of cacti. We saved time by not going to Cactus Valley because you can also find cactus here!

Ikan kekek mak iloi iloi... ;) A great place to relax and unwind...

THE STRAWBERRY & ENGLISH PARSLEY

English parsley planted on the soil beneath the pots of strawberries. 2-in-1 eh.

THE FRESH HYDROPONIC LETTUCE

Our favourite sight by far... what could be even more refreshing than seeing a sea of hydroponically grown lettuce? This is real agro tourism. From romaine, to butterhead, red coral... you name it!

THE MENU BOARDS

Despite them appeared really inviting, both my hubby and I were still full from our big breakfast.

Anyhow... Even a low glycaemic index diet like this mixed salad looks finger-lickin-good...

Healthy huh? A Cameron version of BOOST juice...

Not sure about the Halal status of the cafe here, but this sure looks tempting... huhuhu...

Everything about being here is calm, and therapeutic... although I do not have green fingers, this place made me dream of having my own English garden... but only in my dream... @_@
THE FLOWER POWER

Lavender planted in between white fence, is always a mesmerizing sight...

Beautiful morning glory

Huge hibiscus... rare colour

Potted plant centre. Flowers and cacti for sale.

THE SHOPS

And... that's a wrap! We'll come back Big Red!
